Terms of Service of mamwynik.pl
Courtesy translation. In case of any difference, the Polish version (Regulamin) is binding.
In short: mamwynik.pl is a free website with maths lessons for the Polish eighth-grade exam, plus games and calculators. You use it without an account and without paying. Below we explain who runs it, what you may do, what you may not do, and what to do if something does not work.
1. Who runs the website
The "Mam Wynik" website (mamwynik.pl, the "Website") is run by Karol Czarniecki, a sole proprietor trading as Karol Czarniecki Nadlot, tax ID (NIP) 8471526214, REGON 281405845, registered office and address for service: ul. Zbigniewa Herberta 10/7, 10-686 Olsztyn, Poland (the "Provider").
Contact: [email protected]. This is the single address for all matters: questions, reports, complaints and requests to erase data.
2. What the Website offers
All services on the Website are free of charge. They are:
- Learning materials: video lessons (embedded from YouTube), their descriptions and transcripts, articles, and worksheets to download.
- Games and calculators: programs that run in your browser. Calculators show the result and the solution step by step. Calculations are done on your own device.
- The "Got a question?" form: you can ask a question about a lesson, a problem or the exam. Email is optional. If you give an email, we usually reply within 2 working days.
- The poll "Who are you? What are you looking for?": one click, anonymous. The poll does not store anything in your browser.
- Email messages for parents and teachers: reminders before the exam, new lessons and materials, and information about paid Mam Wynik materials. Signing up is voluntary and requires confirming the address.
Our content is also published on our profiles on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies; these Terms apply only to the website mamwynik.pl.
3. Rules of use
- You can use the Website without registration, without an account and without our own cookies. If you click "Play" on a video, the YouTube player (Google) may store its own cookies (see section 9).
- Technical requirements: a device with internet access (phone, tablet or computer) and an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. To watch lessons you need access to YouTube and speakers or headphones. To open worksheets you need a PDF reader. Games and calculators require JavaScript.
- Risks and data on your device: using the internet involves typical risks, for example malware, phishing, or someone impersonating a sender of emails. We never ask for passwords or payments by email. The Website does not install any software. The poll does not store anything in your browser. Some games and calculators may remember your settings or progress on your device (browser storage); this stays only with you and you can delete it in your browser settings. Visit statistics work without cookies (details in the Privacy Policy).
- Users must not submit unlawful content. Do not enter offensive content or other people's personal data in the forms. Do not give a child's full name or other unnecessary data in a question.
- You must not disrupt the Website: do not overload it with automated requests, bypass the protection of the forms, or try to access other people's data.
- We accept an email address in the forms only from people who are at least 16 years old. Younger people can ask a question without an email or ask a parent or guardian for help.
- We may reject a question or submission that breaks these rules and, in case of abuse, block the ability to send forms.
4. The service agreement and its end
The agreement to use the Website is concluded when you start using it (for example, you open the page or send a form). You can stop using it at any time without giving a reason. You can unsubscribe from email messages with the "Unsubscribe" link in every message or by emailing the contact address. We may change or end the Website or part of it. This does not affect the rights you have by law.
5. Copyright
The lessons, animations, texts, problems, worksheets, games, calculators, graphics and the Mam Wynik logo are protected by copyright. The Provider holds the rights to them unless stated otherwise next to a given item (for example, photos from free stock libraries have their own licences, and we credit their authors in the descriptions).
- You may: watch the lessons, play, and download and print the worksheets for your own learning or for teaching your own children or students, at home and at school. Teachers may use the materials in class, including showing the lessons on a classroom screen. You may link to the Website and quote fragments of it with credit to the source, within the limits of fair use.
- You may not, without our written permission: sell or resell the materials; copy them to your own websites, channels, courses or platforms, including for commercial purposes; remove the author's marks or present the materials as your own; or download them in bulk with automated tools.
If you would like to use the materials in another way (for example in a textbook, a school course or an educational platform), write to the contact address. We usually agree when the purpose is educational.
6. What the Website gives and what it does not
- We do not guarantee an exam result. The lessons and problems help you prepare, but the result depends on many things, mainly on your own work. We do not promise a particular number of points or passing the exam.
- The content does not replace school or counselling. It is not school teaching, individually tailored tutoring or psychological or educational advice. If a student has learning difficulties or special educational needs, it is worth talking to a teacher, a school counsellor or a psychological and educational counselling centre.
- The exam scope is set by the Central Examination Board (CKE). We follow the national curriculum and CKE materials, but CKE's current information is binding. Always check dates and requirements on the CKE and school websites.
- We take care to have every result in the lessons checked several times. If you find a mistake, write to us and we will correct it.
7. Liability
The Provider is liable for damages on the terms set by law. The Website is free of charge and may be interrupted, for example because of a failure of hosting, the network or YouTube, or technical work. We try to keep interruptions as short as possible. We are not liable for the consequences of using the Website contrary to these Terms. This does not limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or any rights that cannot be taken away from a consumer.
The Website contains links to websites and videos of other parties (for example YouTube, CKE). We are not responsible for their content or rules.
8. Complaints and reports
If the Website does not work as described, or you think we are breaking these Terms or your rights, write to [email protected]. Describe what happened, on which page, on which device and in which browser (if you know). We will reply within 14 days of receiving your report, to the address it was sent from. The same route can be used to report mistakes in lessons and content that you think breaks the law. The address [email protected] is also our point of contact for authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and users (Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation 2022/2065). We write in Polish and English. A complaint does not limit your right to take legal action or to contact a consumer ombudsman or another consumer protection body.
9. Personal data
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The mamwynik.pl website does not store cookies and has no advertising. If you click "Play" on a video, the YouTube player (Google) may store its own cookies; the Privacy Policy explains this.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may change the Terms, for example when the law changes or we add a new feature. We will publish the new version on this page with the date from which it applies. A change does not affect what you did earlier, and if it concerns email sign-up you can cancel it at any time. We will notify people signed up for email messages of a change to the Terms or the Privacy Policy by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If the change does not suit you, you can unsubscribe at any time. The Terms are available free of charge on this page, and you can save or print them from your browser.
11. Governing law and disputes
Polish law applies to the agreement to use the Website. For consumers, this does not deprive them of the protection under mandatory provisions of the country where they usually live. Disputes are decided by the competent court under the law. A consumer may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, as explained by consumer ombudsmen and the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl).
12. Language versions
The Website has pages in English, Ukrainian and Russian (where available). They are courtesy translations. In case of any difference, the Polish version is binding. If a translation is unclear, we resolve it in the consumer's favour.
In force from: 29 October 2026. Last change: 29 October 2026.
