Polish 8th-grade exam 2027: when is mathematics and how long does it last?
The Polish 8th-grade exam 2027 in mathematics will take place on Tuesday, 11 May 2027, and normally lasts 125 minutes. The day before (10 May) is Polish, and the day after (12 May) is a foreign language. Students will receive their results and certificates on 6 July 2027. The dates were announced by the director of the Central Examination Board (CKE) in the announcement of 20 August 2026.

How much time is there for mathematics?
The mathematics exam normally lasts 125 minutes. Pupils with exam accommodations may have more time, for example, a maximum of 165 minutes with an opinion on dyscalculia.
In practice, this means: it is worth planning a few minutes for one open-ended question, and leaving the last 10 minutes to check your answers. Practise with a clock on whole exam papers (arkusz).
How much time is left for studying?
From the end of October to 11 May, there are about 28 weeks left. If your child spends 30 minutes on mathematics 3 times a week, that is about 40 hours of revision in total – enough to go through all the exam sections.
How to spread out your revision until May?
- November–December: sections that cause the most trouble (percentages, algebraic expressions, areas of figures).
- January–February: remaining sections, one per week.
- March–April: entire exam papers (arkusz) from previous years, with a clock.
- May: short revisions and rest before the exam.
